Overview

The Player Database is the roster of all the user that have profiles on your tee sheet. The Player Database includes members, public golfers and registered guests (if applicable), staff users, and admin users.

You can access the Player Database from the dashboard and from the Members section of the left side menu.

Each individual record in the player database links to a user profile. The profiles contain information and settings about the user that determines their restrictions and permissions throughout the tee sheet software.

You can create a new profile by clicking the "+ Add New Player" button.

Enter a first name, last name, unique email address*, and member number/member ID.**

* Each user must have a unique email address. The Club Unity tee sheet gives access control and sends communications to golfers by email. Having the same email on multiple player profiles will cause issues.

** The member number/member ID is required if your Club Unity tee sheet integrates with the Single Sign-On API of another application. The member number/member ID can also be used along with a password to sign into the tee sheet.

You can modify individual user profiles by selecting "Edit User" from the dropdown menu on each user.

Bulk Update/Import

You can add or update several records in the player database at once using the Bulk Update/Import tool.

This is a helpful tool for adding several new members to the player database at the start of the season and for updating changes to multiple records.

You will need a properly formatted .csv file to use the Bulk Update/Import tool. Each column must have the column header in the first row cell.

You can export a spreadsheet from Excel or Google Sheets to .csv.
