Assets
You can take bookings for golf simulators, lessons, clinics, yoga classes, swim lanes - you name it! - using Club Unity. The term for these 'non-tee time' booking opportunities is Assets.
Assets can be booked by individuals or groups, one at a time or several in a row. This section shows you everything you need to know about creating and managing Asset Types.

Setting Up Asset Types
You can have any number of assets at your club. The first step is to create an Asset Type and then create the assets beneath the type. For example, you might have an Asset Type called "Golf Simulators" and Assets called "Simulator #1" and "Simulator #2."
This video shows how to set up Asset Types.
Creating Assets
With your Asset Type created, you can start to create Assets underneath that Asset Type.
This video shows you how to create a Golf Simulator asset.
Creating Asset Categories and Restrictions
You can create different categories for asset types and set separate restrictions and permissions for each one.
*** After you create your categories, be sure to return to your Asset Type and set the default user category. ***
Creating Asset Templates
Templates are used to schedule blocks of time for our assets. In this example, we're creating a template for simulators with 60-minute blocks for booking. We'll create one template and apply it to all three of our simulators.
